Cupping during which glass or plastic cups are used to create suction on the skin, increasing blood flow to the targeted area and releasing muscular tension.

Tuina/Acupressure soft tissue manipulation and bodywork are believed to be the oldest system of bodywork. It originated in ancient China and along with acupuncture, qi-gong, and Chinese herbal medicine is one of the four main branches of traditional Chinese medicine.
Gua Sha using a metal or ceramic tool is rubbed across the surface of the skin to free adhesions (layers of tissue that are fused together causing pain and dysfunction) and to increase blood flow.
Moxibustion during which heat is applied to specific points on the body by burning the herb, and mugwort close to the surface of the skin.
